Who We Are:  We’re parents with young children, some with life threatening peanut/tree nut allergies, who care about what our children are eating.  We want to offer children and adults alike fresh, homemade treats that are delicious and safe for everyone to enjoy.  With our products, EVERYONE can be included when special treats and desserts are served.

Anastasia Weis-Cullen:  Anastasia, a native of Louisville, is a mom to three young children, two of whom have peanut, tree nut, sesame, soy and other allergies.  Her daughter’s allergy is so severe that products that don’t contain nuts or peanuts, but have been manufactured in a facility with nuts or peanuts, will cause a serious life threatening reaction.  After practicing law for ten years, Anastasia decided take a break and moved back to Louisville with her family.  By this time Anastasia already was baking everything herself because of her children’s need for truly nut-free baked goods.  As her children started preschool and became more involved in school events, Anastasia often provided baked goods and treats for her children’s classes so that her children, their classmates and their parents could all enjoy the same treats on those special occasions.  More and more, people began asking if she could bake things for them, or if she baked professionally.  Anastasia decided to turn her passion for baking into more, and is currently completing her Professional Baker’s Diploma as part of Sullivan University’s Baking and Pastry Arts Program.

Stefanie Wheeler: Stefanie, also a mom to three children, has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school children, including children with special needs, for seven years before moving to Louisville in 2003. For the last three years, Stefanie’s daughter has attended preschool where some children in her classroom have peanut allergies. Stefanie has experienced the frustration many parents have felt  when searching the Louisville area for safe baked goods that could be purchased for school holiday and birthday parties.  As a teacher and a mom, Stefanie is excited to be offering the Louisville community a source for purchasing fresh, peanut/tree nut-free treats so no child is left out!
